I liked reading that you knit using different using methods and teach the children an easier way.  I use to knit that way, and taught my daughters that way as well.  But I was also half wondering if I should have started them using the way that I knit now.  After reading your article, I feel a little better about it.  In time if they go on to experiment, they will eventually find other methods on their own... just like me.
