		<description>Ah, shucks Lynn, you make me blush. I still wear those socks too. Well, the chartreuse ones, my daughter has nearly worn out the purple pair. It's a great pattern and I think I feel the need to pull it out again for a sequel.

		<description>I adore knitting not-matching-but-related socks.
I am delighted that your Toe-up sock pattern has become one of my mindless knitting projects. I finally made them often enough that, once I catch the guage, I can increase, knit awhile, then measure the length of the foot, and otherwise knit with my mind on something else.
As you can guess, I throw in my own colors and stitch pattern now and then.
It's still my all time favorite sock recipe.

I am going to make your chippy sock pattern (not yet but hopefully soon to be out) my next mindless knitting pattern. I'm almost there. Oscar's blue black and white stranded socks were pretty mindless. With stranded socks, once you finish one, you can just look at it instead of counting to make the second since the color changes happen pretty fast :-} Love that!

Now, back to Rae's shawl :-}
