Maybe I am too easily amused…

…but at Elderly Instruments, there is a divider in the CD department/ukulele section which reads “The Fabulous Heftones.” (That would be me… and Brian.) Next to us? Jake Shimabukuro, Janet Klein, James Hill.

Pardon me while I get giddy for a moment. That is serious company and I’m allowed to enjoy it.

    Look around you, Lynn. That handsome fella over there? He’s an *awesome* uke player. And uke with a bass instrument (that would be you) is like ham and eggs, chocolate and peanut butter, insert your favorite duo comparison here. This is totally without mentioning your lovely singing voice.

    In fine, you’re *part* of the serious company. I’d be proud to be anywhere near any of you.
