At Least a Photo
I guess I’m still dragging my feet following a rough emotional week. It’s hard to sit still right now, more than usual. I don’t really feel like being social but other folks provide a bit of distraction, which is much appreciated.
So here’s a photo. I hate to have you come here and not find something to at least look at.
I taught a wet-felting class at Threadbear Fiberarts a week ago. Two friends signed up together. We got our hands wet and made a bunch of fun things.
We covered bars of soap with luxurious soft wool for gifts. I made a ball of felt and then cut off one side so it would sit flat as a pincushion. We all made small squares of felt, and one of us made two of them into a sachet pillow. It was much fun.

That sounds like so much fun! Wish I could have been there!

Those are so nice - Threadbear sounds like they have great classes, and the ones you teach always look (and sound) so interesting. Those sachet pillows would make fantastic gifts.

Very pretty! One thing I don’t understand though is what do you do with the wool when you want to use the soap. Do you leave it on?
