Sock Photo, Pair #170
I received a lovely skein of Colinette Jitterbug sockyarn, for my 50th birthday at the end of November. In January I cast on for a pair of socks, Turkish toe (toe up) with afterthought heels. They became the 170th pair of socks I have completed.

It took a few months to finish them, I think they were done in May but I did not keep my normally good records on timing. It took me even longer to get photographs. Here they are.
I used the leftover yarn from each sock, to make some wristwarmers for myself. Do you think I can find them to photograph them? Not today. No luck there.
I had never made myself a pair of fingering-weight wristwarmers before. They are very dense and block wind very well, and that makes them quite warm. I like them very much. And I used all but about 6 inches of that precious skein!

Gorgeous socks! Great economy in making the wristwarmers (hope you find them. . . )! Life doesn’t get much better than this!

Love those socks. The colors are wonderful because they are your colors!!! Sometimes, the small things (socks) are big things in life. Congratulations on your 170th pair!
