That is awesome that People magazine interviewed you! The writer never responded to the message that I sent her about your cool freecycle story. I'm so glad that they are aware of this fantastic example of the power of freecycling and the good deeds of people like you! :)

How wonderful to be interviewed by People Magazine. You have always done your own thing. Others are truely interested in the ideas you have. Needless to say, your mom is proud, whether you get published or not. Do you remember when your uncle, OT, was in Newsweek? He had an ice house on the lake at Waseca, MN. He had applied for a "home loan" and was turned down as the foundation was not permanent. They had a phone and the local paper was delivered there. I'll be waiting to hear what happens.

WOW Freecycle! I think I need to get that going here in Central Georgia! What a great idea. I would love to get rid of some stuff and it would probably go to somebody in need, rich or poor.
Sounds like a good way to give back to the universe, and a whole lot better than having a yard sale!

I am enjoying your Spring postings. My sister in law tells me Genmaicha is the "Lipton's Tea" of Japan. It's something that people have fond childhood memories of. Excellent tea of all types is available on line at Peet's. Take a look.
