Lucky 13

I looked at my calendar after Diana/Otterwise mentioned how busy it looked. Um, she’s right.

My next day with no commitments at all? Friday, November 13. We are still in September.

I like my commitments a lot, but I am SO blocking off Friday the 13th as my lucky stay-at-home-and-eat-bonbons day!

    Absolutely! I will stay home that day too (LOL.. I stay home most days).
    But instead of bon bons, I think I’ll have some tea and pumpkin bread.
    Holy Crow woman!
    I hope you get enough sleep to keep up with yourself :-}
    It must be genetic. Os has only 1 day off every 14 lately, but he loves the option of over time. He works hard for us.
    I work 4- hrs most days, too, but it is definitely at my own pace.

  2. Diana Troldahl Says:

    Uh, 4-8 hours, I meant

    I’m eating bon bons as I write! It’s so good to be back home in Michigan!

    OH my. That’s a long way away!

    We have been busier than usual after Huck’s passing. Trying to stay busy. Have been fishing with friends on their boat, to sheep and wool festival, to arts/fiber fair in Bucktown, To lunch with Zach in Lincoln park, to a Brewers’ game in Milwaukee last friday and to Ravinia for the showtunes festival. It wears me out a bit. Hard as it is to be home, I’m beginning stay around more. I adore the fall here in the midwest, so need real need to travel beyond my own town actually.

    Yes, that Friday 13th sounds special already!
    BTW I was too slow to comment on your colour contest, but I have been thinking about the topic. Last week we had some grey mornings, and the sun is rising later and later, and I found my response was to wear orange or turquoise shirts (with earrings and bracelets too, and sometimes shoes).
    I could not be a person whose every garment was black.
    Sounds like a prescriptions – ” apply bright colours liberally”.
    have a good week, Lisa
