Hi Lynn, I need a new winter hat – ASAP. This is it – I love it! I’ll be back home in MI for a brief visit in March – looking for a little farm in Leelanau County – time for me to move back home. Anyway – I will need a warm hat and warm mittens.

Lindy in AZ (yes, it gets cold here too – 36 degrees this morning but we’ve had much colder).

I love the hat! You would think that living in Texas we would not need anything like that but we have had snow twice in the last week – including a white Christmas for the first time in 83 years!

I am so very happy that you have finished this pattern, just in time for me to use it to knit my German friend’s hat that I started when I was there, but didn’t knit correctly, so it is once again a ball of yarn. I will knit it in the patterns for a different hat, but at least she’ll get the ear flaps that work!
