What a GREAT idea! I love, love, love how it feels after I have purged my house/a room/a cupboard! This experience more recently has stopped me from purchasing things too... I think where will this be sitting in six months? And usually I leave it on the shelf at the store

I recently purchased a huge amount of stuff at an estate sale. Yarn, fiber, a knitting machine, books, and lots of back issues of Handwoven magazine and some knitting machine magazines and patterns. Some of the patterns had floppy disks included, and a 1983 issue of Handwoven had an article about programming in BASIC. How quaint!

I recently responded to a request on Freecycle for yarn. It turned out the daughter of someone I know learned to crochet. I found a plastic grocery bag worth of stuff that I was never going to use and never bother to put on Ravelry. I listed a bunch of books I had sitting on Half.com (found them while searching for yarn. I recently downsized my 'desk' because it was becoming a landing pad for everything I couldn't work on it. It stays a lot clearer now and I have been finding it more usable (and less painful to type at). A few months ago my Palm Tungsten E's power button broke. I jury rigged it to work but it wasn't going to last long. I finally bought an E2 a month ago and am still working on getting everything transfered and working. Overall I am liking it although I think getting a Touch would have been nicer in the long run. Oh well I could pay for the E2, used Touch's were just out of my price range right now. Now to tackle the box of electronics someone gave me to ebay....
